A Wolf and his Prey

I am *VERY* proud of this.

This is also why I don't do sewing by hand very much anymore. My hand actually went numb from sewing this ( go carpal go!).

As is, this is a pouch for holding a deck of tarot cards, runes or whatever else. I found a wolf's paw in a scrap bin with the rear pad torn pretty badly- I took the pad off, and extended the bottom of the pouch to make a false pad for it. It wanted to be petted a lot and this seemed the best way to make sure that it would be. I sewed the wolf paw to the bag- along with some white rabbit fur for accent. I used deer suede for the pouch- copper beads and a abalone bead for accent on the flap.

It's a fold over- and it uses a moose tooth for the button.

Those are my cards modeling it- Wolf Song Cards which aren't even tarot cards- but kinda? but not. They like me and I like them, that's what matters ( that and they put up with me... poor abused things... ;_; )

I got the idea for a belt-loop from me constantly putting my other pouch on my belts and then having it drag down because the pouch that GO with MY cards is a drawstring ( which was orginally built for my gecko so I could take him around with me... )- This fits most normal belts- with a little room on it. Sits nicely.

Title comes from the fact that it's a wolf paw- but everything else with the exception of the beads is something a wolf would eat. Rabbit, deer and moose.

It's also been bloodied ( so it's probably going to last a long damn time... ) ... me and the needle had a love/hate thing going on. I got stuck quite a lot doing this.

Note me if interested, I'm setting the price for this at $70- as is, I can't use it, my cards like the gecko pouch- and for all that the gecko pouch is part of an old sleeve, rabbit fuzz, and leather straps- my deck calls it 'home'.

_{Small edit! So you know why I won't do much of sewing, or things like this? It took me over 12hrs to do this. Not that it was hard to do, or figure out- but because of my wrist and hand. I can't do it.}
